Industrial Hammer Mills Are Used For Grinding Crystalline Fibrous Materials
Description:
This is an HM hammer mill, made entirely of stainless steel, with a compact structure and a simple, modern appearance. The mill head consists of a screen, a rotor, and a feeder. Material is evenly fed into the chamber through the feeder, where it is pulverized by the high-speed impact of the rotor and then sieved through the screen to achieve the desired particle size. Material is evenly fed into the grinding chamber through the feeding device, where it is repeatedly pulverized by the high-speed impact, shearing, and grinding action of the hammers under the drive of the high-speed rotating rotor.
Simultaneously, it is thrown against the inner wall liner of the chamber, undergoing secondary collision and crushing, until the particle size is smaller than the screen aperture, at which point it passes through the screen and is discharged, achieving precise particle size control. Pharmaceutical-grade models typically employ an aseptic design, and the fineness of the finished product can be flexibly adjusted by changing screens with different apertures. The main unit adopts a hammer-type high-speed crushing structure, which uses high-speed rotating hammers to impact, shear, and grind materials, achieving efficient crushing.
Application:
This machine is suitable for fine grinding and milling of hard, crystalline, and fibrous materials. It is ideal for pulverizing/granulating raw materials, intermediates, and pharmaceutical preparations, especially crystalline and brittle materials (such as salts, sugars, and traditional Chinese medicine slices). It can also be used for the low-temperature pulverization of sterile raw materials. It is also suitable for pulverizing spices, grains, and food additives. Furthermore, it is ideal for crushing and granulating crystalline and brittle powdery materials.

Feature Advantage:
1. High-speed rotor (up to 7200 rpm in some models) + large effective area screen ensures high crushing efficiency; the finished particle size can be adjusted by changing the screen aperture to suit various process requirements.
2. The rotor undergoes high-precision dynamic balancing, ensuring smooth operation and low noise; the movable hammer design reduces the risk of material blockage, and wear parts have a long service life.
3. The mobile support design with casters facilitates transfer between different production areas; the modular structure makes maintenance simple and quick.
4. All parts in contact with materials are made of high-quality stainless steel, with polished inner walls to eliminate dead corners; the machine head can be quickly disassembled using clamps; it supports online/offline sterilization and complies with GMP standards.
