Description:
Spray drying is the most widely used process in liquid processing and drying industries. It is best suited for producing powdered or granular solid products from solutions, emulsions, suspensions, and pastes. Therefore, spray drying is an ideal process when the particle size distribution, residual moisture content, bulk density, and particle shape of the finished product must meet precise standards.
Air is filtered and heated before entering the air distributor at the top of the dryer. The hot air enters the drying chamber evenly in a spiral pattern. The liquid feed is atomized into extremely fine mist droplets by a high-speed centrifugal atomizer (rotating) at the top of the tower, which come into contact with the hot air in parallel flow, drying the product into the finished product in a very short time. The finished product is continuously discharged from the bottom of the dryer and the cyclone separator, while the exhaust gas is vented by a fan.

It is a widely used equipment for forming and drying liquid materials. It is particularly suitable for processing liquid raw materials such as solutions, emulsions, suspensions, and pastes into powdered or granular solid products in one step, achieving one-step powdering.
