Automatic Unloading Rotary Granulator For Semi-dry Powdery And Sticky Materials

Description:

This rotary granulator is tailor-made for the pharmaceutical and food industries, meeting GMP cleanroom production standards. Constructed entirely of stainless steel, it eliminates unsanitary corners and is easy to clean and disinfect. The equipment efficiently granulates using a rotary extrusion principle, producing uniformly sized granules from damp, soft materials. It can also granulate agglomerated materials, achieving a high granulation rate and low fine powder content, making it suitable for subsequent drying and tableting processes. Equipped with casters for flexible movement, the integrated control box offers convenient operation, supports speed adjustment and emergency stop functions, and allows for particle size adjustment by changing different screen sizes. It is an ideal granulation equipment for small to medium batch production scenarios.

 

Damp, soft materials are fed from the top hopper and fall into the cavity between the rotating rotor and the screen. The rotor rotates at high speed, causing the material to undergo a centrifugal motion, forcing it against the inner wall of the screen. Under the centrifugal force and the extrusion of the rotor blades, the material is forced through the screen mesh, forming uniform columnar granules. The extruded granules naturally break due to their own moisture and viscosity, exiting from the side outlet, completing the granulation process.

 

Application:

Its core function is wet granulation, which produces uniformly sized granules from evenly mixed, moist soft materials, such as pharmaceutical powders and food ingredients, suitable for subsequent drying, tableting, and packaging processes. It can also be used for granulation of some dry materials and for breaking up agglomerated materials, and is widely used in small- to medium-batch production in the pharmaceutical, food, and chemical industries.
